- 300 gr farina-
- 200 g zucchero-
- 100 g mandorle dolci-
- 3 uova-
- 1 cucchiano scorza arancia grattuggiata-
- 1 cucchiaino semi d'anice-
- 3 g bicarbonato-
- latte-
- burro-
Buon appetito

CANTUCCI FRANCY STYLE
· 2 3/4 cups flour
· 7/8 cup sugar
· 3.5 oz sweet almond
· 1 teaspoon grated orange rind
· 1 teaspoon aniseed
· 0.5 tsp bicarbonate
· butter
· pinch salt
Prepare the flour, sifted with the bicarbonate. Add little by little sugar, a pinch of salt, grated orange peel (no white part) the anise seeds and almonds in their skins. Break 2 eggs and mix carefully, and if too dry, add a little 'milk. Models now some small loaves as big as 2 fingers, arrange on buttered and floured baking tray in the oven and brush them with beaten egg yolk. Bake at 374 F° for 15 min, then cut diagonally and put them back in the oven for 5 min. Do not worry if they seem soft in the center during the cut: with the second baking they’ll become perfect. Respect the cooking time : otherwise, you risk a bite of the "stones "!!!!!!!!! They are really great with some “vinsanto”!!
Bon appetite
